Ron and TJ Brar purchased the BCHL Surrey Eagles in May 2022 after a unanimous decision by the BCHL Board of Governors. The local family grew up in the South Surrey area where their love for hockey started at a young age. TJ Brar noted “We want to encompass our priorities around hockey, academics, community and most importantly, building new leaders. We are grateful to Chuck Westgard, former owner, and the BCHL family for allowing us to be a part of the best junior hockey program in Canada.” Ron Brar noted
