About Us

OUR STORY began in 1969. Founder Dave Wasmuth began buying softwood lumber for the U.S. lumber market. In 1975 operating a reload lumber yard in Surrey, focusing on Interior lumber for local yards and shipments to the U.S, Dave formed Westminster Industries.

As the company approaches its 50th year, Westminster, through an experienced team of traders, a reputation for integrity, expert product advice, competitive pricing, and on-time delivery, serves a spectrum of design and building requirements, reaching many countries around the globe.

Westminster Industries growing range of products fulfills a diversity of customer requirements. Our product range includes all grades of raw and finished timber, preserved wood, Western Red Cedar, Hemlock, Douglas Fir, and SPF.
