Aug 17 - Community Litter Cleanup along the Beach & Marine Drive in White Rock!
?? Can YOU help us tackle trash!? JOIN the Lower Mainland Green Team and City of White Rock on Sun Aug 17th from 9:45am-1pm along Marine Drive & the beach for our second & final community litter cleanup in White Rock this summer! ??? We made a great impact at our first cleanup with 56 community members who collected 123lbs of litter including more than 1,300 cigarette butts, a whole paper bag lunch, lego, a fresh carrot, and socks! What will we find this time?! ??No Experience Needed, all ages & abilities welcome! Gloves, safety vests, litter pickers, garbage bags & snacks provided - just bring yourself and the community spirit to be a difference maker! ?? ?? When: Sun Aug 17th, 9:45AM – 1:00PM, Rain or Shine! ??? ?? What: Cleaning up Litter to prevent pollution of our streams & oceans! ?? Where: Oxford Comfort Station (End of Oxford St., White Rock) ?? Provided: Gloves, safety vests, litter pickers, garbage bags, snacks, & educational instruction! ? You wear: Long sleeves, long pants & closed-toe shoes. ??
