  • Kathryn Ritter

    District Manager, BC, SISIP Financial

Kathryn has worked in Financial Services for over a decade.  Before that, she started and managed a thriving Vancouver branch office of an Alberta-based Audio/Visual company, and worked in several Business to Business sales roles – experiencing and observing business at many levels: at the C-Suite level of large corporations; in Executive Boardrooms,  Libraries, Universities and Grade Schools – all the way to the mid-sized Manufacturing Operation, to the 2-person Mom and Pop shop in small-town Canada.

Having grown up around a family business, Kathryn has developed a deep respect for the entrepreneurial spirit. For over 25 years, she has worked closely with a wide range of business owners, and in particular, has developed a special place in her heart for women entrepreneurs.  As a busy mother of two, she has personal insight into the experience of female business owners, who often feel squeezed between the pressures of business and the needs of their family.
South Surrey has been Kathryn’s home for 20 years, and she is very proud of this community.  We boast a thriving arts community; sports and fitness opportunities for every age; we are home to restaurants and cafes and every possible kind of professional service.
Kathryn has discovered through her Chamber Membership how much better the community is served when its business thrives.  If small business is the heart of a community – then it needs a strong Chamber to support and promote it.  Kathryn would be honored to serve as a Director with this Chamber, with the goal of giving back to a community that has been so good to her and her family.
