The Chamber also sees it as important that the public has the necessary resources to make informed decisions when they go to the polls during an election period. With the 2022 Surrey South By-election called for September 10, 2022, we have created this page with useful links and information.

     

    The Chief Electoral Officer has declared Elenore Sturko elected as the MLA for Surrey South.

    Options to vote:

    If you can't vote on Election Day, you have other options! Plan in advance how you will be voting. Listed are a few highlights and for full details, click here!

    • Requesting a Mail-In Ballot: If you'd like to request a mail-in ballot be sent to you, click here.

    • Elections BC offices: Voting is available at the Surrey South district electoral office during office hours, from now until 4 p.m. on Election Day (September 10, 2022). Contact information for the office is below:

    • Advance Polling Stations: Advance voting places will be open September 1-4, and September 6-7 from 8:00am to 8:00pm. All advance voting places will be wheelchair accessible. Advance voting locations can be found by clicking here
      Note: Advance voting places will be closed on Monday, September 5 for the Labour Day statutory holiday.
